Oxford Grove invests a lot of curriculum time in both Computing and PSHE on how to keep safe on computers and other aspects of Online Safety.

As well as learning about how to tackle cyberbullying and keep themselves safe when using the internet, this also includes children learning about the validity and reliability of information available on the internet, and also about copyright laws and plagiarism.

Our Digital Leaders also lead an additional online safety education programme, and disseminate their learning to other children in the school every half term.

    • “The eCadets in KS2 speak enthusiastically about the eCadets and they have enjoyed the eSafety challenges they have been given to do.”

    • “There has been a change in emphasis from simply ensuring online safety to developing comprehensive education programmes to increase resilience.”

    • “It is clear that there has been ongoing progress [in online safety] in recent years.”

    • “The training of staff within the school is a real strength within the establishment.”
