• ‘How We Teach Reading’ Workshop

    Monday 30th January


    Parents wereinvited into school to see teachers teaching reading across the school. They worked with their children and saw how reading  teaching supports children and enables them to progress throughout school.

  • Triple P: Positive Parenting Program

    Thursday 9th February at 9:15am


    Parents are invited into school to take part in a parenting course led by visiting professionals.

  • Phonics and Reading Workshop

    Monday  16th January


    Parents were invited into school to learn about our online reading resource  -Bug Club Reading – and about how phonics is taught throughout school.

  • Speech and Language Workshop

    Thursday  19th January


    Parents were invited into school to  work with our speech and language therapist; to learn about her work with our children and how to support their children at home.

  • Foundation Stage Story Sessions

    Every Monday 2:15pm – 3:00pm


    Parents are invited to take part in story sessions with their child’s class. These are initially led by the teacher, who models good reading skills with the children. Parents can then share books with their child.

  • Family Learning Workshops – Maths

    Every Monday 9:00am – 12:00pm


    Parents are invited to workshops to help them support their child’s learning in maths. Children join in with the last part of the session.

  • Class Assemblies

    Each Thursday, a different class holds a class assembly, which parents are invited to attend.
