  • Foundation Stage Christmas Shows

    Reception  on Wednesday 7th December  and Nursery  on Wednesday 14th December


    Parents were invited into school to watch their children perform in the Nativity shows.

  • Key Stage 2 Christmas Shows

    Wednesday 21st December and Thursday 22nd December


    Parents were invited into school to see their children perform in ‘A Song for Christmas’ – a celebration with songs from classes, choir performances and poem recitals.

  • Parent Coffee Mornings

    Commencing Tuesday 8th November


    Parents were invited into school fortnightly to work with our family liaison support worker, Mrs Woodall. The focus of the sessions was on supporting behaviour and strengthening families.

  • ‘How We Teach Calculation’ Workshop

    Monday 14th November


    Parents were invited into school to see teachers teaching calculations across the school. They were able to work with their children and see how calculation teaching supported children and enabled them to progress throughout school.

  • Music Assemblies

    Commencing Thursday  22nd September


    Parents were invited into school to watch  their children perform on the djembe drums. The children had taken part in workshops with by Mr Bamford, working on learning a performance piece. Year 2, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 took part in this over four weeks.

  • Online Resources Workshop

    Wednesday 5th October


    Parents were invited into school for a refresher on how to get the most out of our school’s online resources, including Purple Mash, My Maths, blogs, Bug Club Reading and Spellodrome, at home. 

  • Phonics and Bug Club Workshops

    Wednesday  14th September


    Parents were invited into school to learn about our newest online resource  -Bug Club Reading – and about how phonics is taught throughout school.

  • Online Safety Workshop

    Thursday  15th September


    Parents found out all about our online safety work in the curriculum, how the eCadets pupil-led programme is used to support and looked over some of the resources that our school uses to help keep our children safe online.

  • Family Learning Workshops – Reading

    Every Monday 9:00am – 12:00pm


    Parents are invited to workshops to help them support their child’s learning in reading. Children join in with the last part of the session.

  • Meet the Teacher

    Tuesday 6th September


    Parents were invited into school to meet their child’s new teacher and go over routines and expectations for the year.
