Oxford Grove invests a lot of curriculum time in both Computing and PSHE on how to keep safe on computers and other aspects of Online Safety.

As well as learning about how to tackle cyberbullying and keep themselves safe when using the internet, this also includes children learning about the validity and reliability of information available on the internet, and also about copyright laws and plagiarism.

Our Digital Leaders also follow the eCadets pupil-led online safety education programme, and disseminate their learning to other children in the school every half term.

    • “The eCadets in KS2 speak enthusiastically about the eCadets and they have enjoyed the eSafety challenges they have been given to do.”

    • “The subject leader for online safety has great enthusiasm for online safety and has actively promoted and developed this area across the school in the last couple of years.”

    • “The eCadets are actively encouraged to support other pupils in school.”

    • “The training of staff within the school is a real strength within the establishment.”
